Bio-hydraulic fluid earns carbon-free certification

BLC 710 bio-hydraulic fluid is the first hydraulic oil to earn Carbon-free certification from Carbonfund.org and NSF Sustainability. Vegetable-based oil has a viscosity index of 200 and a pour point of –35°C. Its viscosity is 44 cSt at 40°C and 10 cSt at 100°C. Ashless ISO 46 fluid is greater than 60% biodegradable in 28 days. It is available in 20, 205, and 1000 L.

It is available in 20, 205, and 1000 L. It is shear stable and protects pumps and motors from wear as well as rust and corrosion.

It is derived from a renewable source and is certified as 96% bio-based under the USDA BioPreferred program. It maintains its multi-grade nature throughout use and also offers high oxidation resistance and thermal stability at high temperatures and resists excessive foaming, which can slow system response.
