A range of new equipment and motion control technologies displayed at MINExpo aim to improve mining operations.

Once every 4 years, the mining industry comes together to showcase the latest technological developments for this vital sector at MINExpo International. The 2024 event takes place September 24-26 in Las Vegas, NV, and is sure to be another great edition.

OEMs, component suppliers — including those offering hydraulic, pneumatic, and electric motion control solutions — service providers and more are highlighting new and existing products aimed at making mining operations more efficient and productive.

Advancements in electrification and automation are among the highlights at MINExpo 2024. These major industry trends have been present in the mining sector for many years because of the productivity and safety improvements possible. But like other sectors, technological advancements are enhancing the capabilities of automated functions and driving as well as the number of machines which can be electrified.
