NFPA Confirms Presentation Topics for Advanced Hydraulics Conference

June 26, 2024
The National Fluid Power Association is hosting an advanced hydraulics conference in conjunction with iVT Expo 2024.

The National Fluid Power Association (NFPA) is partnering with iVT Expo — an exposition for the off-highway vehicle design and engineering community — to host an advanced hydraulics conference at the 2024 event taking place August 21-22 in Chicago, IL.

Hydraulic components and systems are among the many technologies on display at iVT Expo given their importance to construction equipment, agricultural machinery and other mobile off-highway vehicles.

NFPA announced the partnership with iVT Expo in January with the goal of educating the industry on the technologies and trends impacting mobile hydraulic systems to aid engineers' current and future development efforts.

Topics currently confirmed for NFPA's 2-day advanced hydraulics conference include:

  • Improved Design & Control of Hydraulics on Electrified Off-Highway Vehicles
  • Improved Hydraulic Performance Through Data Utilization
  • Functional Safety Requirements for Hydraulic Systems
  • Increase Hydraulic Efficiency for Longer Duty Cycles
  • Improved Thermal Management of Electrified Vehicle Systems

“NFPA member companies represent the cutting-edge technologies that vehicle engineers need to incorporate into their machine systems and designs. Their participation as presenters in our education conference, combined with hands-on demonstrations on the iVT Expo show floor, will provide a unique educational experience for our primary customers,” said Eric Lanke, NFPA President and CEO.

In addition to the NFPA presentations, iVT Expo offers its own conference sessions related to electrification, automation and other trends impacting the off-highway equipment design industry. The exhibition floor will also provide an opportunity to see the latest technological developments as well such as powertrains, sensors, control systems and more.

Registration is open for the NFPA Advanced Hydraulics Conference which includes access to iVT's conference sessions as well. NPFA is offering a 10% discount on conference passes to its members who can enter the following code in the discount code box: IVTNA24NIFD8SXM10 on the registration page for the event
