Magnetek Offers Remote Control Training Program

The training teaches professionals how to troubleshoot, operate, and program the company's radio remote-control products.

Magnetek’s Radio Remote Control training program introduces students to radio theory so that they can use the companies various radio remote products. Students will receive comprehensive instruction and hands-on training to learn about hardware configurations and diagnostics, as well as troubleshooting and programming.

The course will also cover radio theory, best practices, and hardware overview, showing students how to identify and utilize different systems and to program and troubleshoot different tools. Time will be alloted for for questions and answers, and lunch will be provided on all three days.

Students can choose how many days they want to attend the Radio Remote Control program. Day 1 of the program may be completed as an individual course, or as part of the full three-day program. Days 2 and 3 may also be completed as an individual course, or as part of the full three-day program. The upcoming training dates for 2018 are listed below:

  • March 20 to 22
  • May 1 to 3
  • June 12 to 14
  • July 24 to 26
  • Aug. 28 to 30
  • Oct. 16 to 18
  • Dec. 4 to 6

Space is limited to twelve attendees per session, and spots are allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis.  

Class Registration Information from Magnetek

Magnetek reserves the right to cancel training if the minimum number of registrations is not met three weeks prior to the start date of the session. Given this possibility, if you plan to fly, please do not book your flight too early. In the event of a cancelled session, you will be invited to attend another training session.

All in-house training sessions are free of charge; however, you are responsible for your own travel and lodging expenses. We have a negotiated corporate rate of $85.00 per night, plus tax, with a local hotel. This hotel also offers complimentary shuttle transportation between the hotel and our facility.
