DGSL ultraprecise slide is used for positioning or as a pick-and-place system. It features an integrated bearing system with 0.01-mm accuracy, linearity, and parallelism. Eight sizes are offered from 4 to 20-mm diameter, with strokes to 200 mm. Optional clamping unit and end-position interlock prevents lowering of loads onto workpiece carriers in case of compressed-air-supply failure and provides protection in emergency-stop situations. Three different end-stop systems — shock-absorber, cushioned metal stops, polymer stops — are available.
