The news continues to pour in from bauma 2022, one of the world's largest construction and mining industry shows which took place October 24-30 in Munich, Germany. A variety of new components, systems, equipment and more were unveiled during the event, helping demonstrate the continued innovation of these key industries served by the fluid power market.
Organizers of the show Messe München report they were pleased with the 2022 event. Despite attendance being down slightly from the previous edition in 2019, Messe München reports it was still a strong show and industry expectations were surpassed.
Per a post-show press release from Messe München:
- A total of around 3,200 exhibitors from 60 countries were in attendance (2019: 3,684 exhibitors from 63 countries)
- Over 495,000 visitors came to bauma from over 200 countries (2019: 627,603 visitors from more than 200 countries)
- Share of international exhibitors was close to 65% and international visitors about 50%.
Several OEMs reported to Messe München their happiness with the show, noting they had a positive level of interest at their booths and good conversations with customers.
"In these challenging times, bauma has sent a strong signal to the trade-fair sector: Industries need precisely such in-person events like bauma where everyone can directly experience products and hold personal conversations," said co-CEOs of Messe München Stefan Rummel and Dr. Reinhard Pfeiffer in the organization's press release.
bauma 2022 provided manufacturers of all types, including several in the fluid power industry, to showcase their latest developments. This media gallery aims to highlight many, but of course not all, of those technologies that would be of most interest for fluid power, motion control and related markets to highlight the advancements and industry trends taking place.
