RL series cylinders have an anodized aluminum housing and precision ground tool steel locking mechanism and are rated for four million actuations.

RL series cylinders have an anodized aluminum housing and precision ground tool steel locking mechanism and are rated for four million actuations. They offer a 200 msec response time, low backlash, and zero rod movement on actuation. Compressed air opens the rod lock; when air is exhausted, spring force actuates a mechanism to unlock the unit. A 3-way air valve controls the rod lock unit.
