Dr. Andreas Schumacher joined Danfoss in 2007 as a simulation engineer in the Hydrostatics division and since then has taken on leadership of the simulation team and, over the years, gained additional responsibilities such as mechatronics, functional safety, electronics, product compliance, and sustainability. Prior to joining Danfoss, Andreas was part of the scientific staff of the Institute of Agricultural Machinery and Fluid Power (today called Institute for Mobile Machines and Commercial Vehicles) from 2002-2007 for his doctoral studies. He holds the German equivalent of the Master of Science in mechanical engineering.
