Bailey Highlighting Hydraulic and Joystick Technologies
Bailey International and its Sure Grip Controls brand are exhibiting the company’s latest hydraulic components and joystick solutions.
Experts from the company will be on hand to talk with attendees about the Chief AT (Alternative to Tie-Rod) Cylinders. These are welded hydraulic cylinders which can be used in any application where tie-rod cylinders are typically utilized. The welded design of the AT cylinder helps to make it durable for harsh operating conditions while overcoming some of the drawbacks of tie-rod cylinders such as debris collection.
Several Sure Grip technologies will be on display, including the newly released custom armrest. It can be tailored to specific customer requirements with options including cushion materials and colors as well as integration of joysticks, LEDs and pushbuttons. Additional features include sealing to IP69K for extended durability and multiple connection options.
Sure Grip will also unveil its new Proportional Roller Module, an analog return-to-center miniature thumb control offering a compact design for use in consoles, armrests or control boxes.
Watch our video interview below with Matt Grussing, Director of Sales - Western USA at Bailey International, to learn more about the Chief AT Cylinders.
Bosch Rexroth and HydraForce Display Compact Hydraulics
Bosch Rexroth and HydraForce, which it acquired in 2023, will bring their combined expertise in compact hydraulic systems to iVT Expo 2024. The companies are encouraging visitors to stop by their booth and discuss potential collaboration opportunities with their engineers.
In addition, several of the companies’ latest technologies will be on display, such as:
- HydraForce Innercept Digital Proportional Control
- HydraForce EHBL Digital Boom Control
- Bosch Rexroth EDG-OBE and EDH Compact Directional Valves
- New hybrid solution combining a Bosch Rexroth Compact Directional Valve with HydraForce HIC.
Two of the companies’ experts will also be presenting during the conference portion of the event. On August 21 at 11:20 a.m., Russ Schneidewind, Director of Business Development, and David Ruxton, R&D Engineer, will give a presentation entitled “Digital Proportional Control Technology — Advancing Hydraulic System Design.
This presentation, which is part of the co-located National Fluid Power Association (NFPA) Advanced Hydraulics conference, will offer insight on how the integration of electronic controls and sensors into hydraulic systems can help enhance the productivity of off-highway equipment.

Tecfluid Showing New Hydraulic Control System for Tailgates
Tecfluid plans to show its new hydraulic control system for tailgates at iVT Expo 2024. This system is designed to be compact and easy to install on any type of truck tailgate.
As the company describes in a pre-show news release, the system is equipped with a sophisticated control system that includes a key switch, cable remote control and radio remote control.
It also features a durable design enabling it to withstand atmospheric agents, allowing use in any weather conditions.
Walvoil to Demonstrate Benefits of Adaptive Load Sensing Technology
Walvoil will show its adaptive load sensing (ALS) technology which provides load sensing management for fluid power systems. Since its initial introduction, it has become a system architecture utilizing mechanical and digital properties.
ALS allows the creation of various configurations, all of which provide energy savings, flow regulation, torque control and enhanced responsiveness. Much of this is possible through the inclusion of software and electronic control.
Wandfluh Compact Mobile Valves Offer Lightweight Solution
At iVT Expo 2024, Wanfluh is showing its Compact Mobile Valves (CMV) made from aluminum which provides a lightweight option for various mobile machinery designs.
These hydraulic valves are designed to provide smooth operation in an array of operating conditions. They also provide a tailored option for applications such as speed control in fertilizer spreaders.
The CMV can be adapted to different pump systems to provide consistent flow while providing efficient control and positioning of a machine’s working tools.
Webtec Exhibiting New Digital Hydraulic Tester
Hydraulic measurement and control specialist Webtec is showing its latest development, the third generation of its DHT digital hydraulic tester. The tester aims to help hydraulic technicians be more reactive, proactive and preventative with their maintenance.
The DHT has a built-in loading valve to simulate load, enabling it to measure flow, pressure and temperature. A protection rating of IP65 is included on the portable tester to ensure its durability as well. A larger display is also included on this updated version of the DHT tester for easier-to-read flow digits.
Additional updates include:
- a battery power gauge,
- service interval reminder,
- internal temperature monitoring for sensitive components and
- operational limit warning when measuring high-temperature fluids up to 120 C.
